MTBFについて

MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is the average time between failures affecting a piece of equipment and/or a system and a measure to show how reliable a product is.

Thus, the higher the MTBF value is, the more reliable the product is.

There are two calculation methods, i.e. the Component Count Reliability Prediction method without considering any derating rate of any component of MIL-HDBK-217F and the Component Stress Analysis Method that considers the stress level for each component.

For a calculation under the Component Count Reliability Prediction Method, we employ EIAJRCR-9102 (Currently referred to as JEITA) based on MIL-HDBK-217F.
